Windows 7 Extra Trial Days
Extend The Windows 7 Trial
You may not know that you can install Windows 7 without any license key and use it for 30 days? However, with a couple little tricks you can extend this 30 days to 360 days. Here is how.
Extend 30 To 120 Days
The first step is to extend the trial to 120 days. The first thing you’ll want to do is check how many days are left in your trial period. You can do this by right-clicking Computer and choosing Properties. At the bottom of the window it should say how many days you have left. Now run the Command Prompt (cmd) as an Administrator. (Just type cmd in the search or run box.) Simply type in the command "slmgr -rearm" to extend the trial period. A dialog box will show up, saying that the command has completed successfully, and that you need to reboot. Do so. The command "slmgr -rearm" should only work for a maximum of 3 times, so it is wise to do it on your last day to maximize the amount of time you have left. Each time you do the command grants you 30 days extra time, so 30*3=90 plus the original 30 days you had for a total of 120 days.
Extend 120 to 360 Days
1. Type in the “Search Box” > regedit and then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\ SL or instead “SL”, search for “SoftwareProtectionPlatform”
2. In the right panel change “SkipRearm” value to “1″
3. From now on will be able to use the command “slmgr -rearm” for another eight times. So now you’ll have a total of 360 days for using Windows 7 without activating it if you add all the extra days together. And If you want, when the trial period does expire, you can just re-install Windows 7 and get another 360 extra trial days free! Enjoy!
