Customize The Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD)

Anyone who has used Windows before at least knows of the dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), even if they never encountered one before. Well, if you are going to have errors at least you want the Blue Screen of Death to look fashionable, right? Here is how to customize the BSOD into any color you want.

First download the Not My Fault utility from here. It was created to illustrate a driver crash, but there is a little feature added to customize the blue screen color while you’re at it. Be sure to run the correct version for your system, either 32-bit or 64-bit Windows. If you are unsure if you are 32-bit or 64-bit, you can always go to Start -> Control Panel –> System to check which type of operating system you have. 

After running Not My Fault, click the BSOD Colors button to customize the colors into whatever you want. After you are done, you can click the Do Bug button. When you click the Do Bug button, your system will crash and reboot. You’ll lose anything you haven’t saved. You might have problems starting the computer back up initially, thus causing a Blue Screen Of Death to show up in the colors you specified.
