Create ISO File
Now that you know how to burn an ISO file to disc (skip to step 2), you may be wondering how to do the opposite: How to create an ISO file from a physical disc. Thankfully it is not that hard. Here is how.
Step 1: Download and Install ImgBurn
Download and install ImgBurn from here. Open it up and select "Create Image File from Disc". (Note: ImgBurn can also burn ISOs to a disc, so use it as an alternative if you didn't like InfraRecorder used in the last guide.)
Step 2: Set The Settings
In the next window select the drive that contains the disc, and select the destination directory for the ISO. You can also set the Read Speed for the disc.
Step 3: Start The Conversion
When you are ready to start click the Read button to begin the process of converting the disc to an ISO. ImgBurn will start the process of converting the disc to an ISO file. You can view the progress bar and the ImgBurn logs while it is converting. You can choose what the disc does after the file is finished and stop the conversion at any time if you need to as well. When the file is finished, you will be able to find the ISO file created where you specified.
